Situated near the base of the majestic Kang Yatse mountain, Markha Village is one of the
largest and most culturally vibrant villages in the entire Markha Valley. Known for its rich
history, religious heritage, and warm-hearted residents, Markha offers visitors an authentic

    point for trekkers heading towards Kang Yatse I & II base camps.
  3. Access: Can be reached via trekking from Skiu, Sara-Chalak, or Hankar; it lies in the
    heart of Hemis National Park, surrounded by stunning mountain views and ancient
    ruins.
